About the role
The role consists of installing assistive driving controls and vehicle access solutions for people with disability. It improves their quality of life and this is hugely rewarding, to be in a position to help customers drive for the first time, a luxury we often take for granted.
Duties:
- Installation of products (for example hand controls, assistive braking systems, assistive steering systems).
- Problem-solving – fault finding of electrical systems.
- Work with relay boards and a comprehensive understanding of auto electrics.
- Competently read Auto-Data schematics.
- Manage all aspects of our Workshop (help us build a high-performing workshop).
- Own and lead our workshop safety plan.
- Metal fabrication.
- Liaise with our installation partners across Australia and help educate them on product installation and problem-solving when needed.
