About the role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Body Builder to join our client in Campbelltown. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this hands-on role focuses on working on various road transport trailers using a range of materials.
Duties
- Interpret blueprints to determine work requirements
- Maintain and service a variety of equipment
- Fabricate, bolt, and weld metal components
- Assemble products and production equipment in the workshop
- Inspect industrial or commercial equipment for proper operation
- Ensure compliance with standards by evaluating information
- Work according to detailed specifications and within required timeframes
Skills and experience
- Relevant trade qualification
- Working knowledge of semi-trailers
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Experience in MIG welding heavy steel
- Good organizational skills and initiative
