Our client, Complete Steel Worx Pty Ltd, has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing background and a highly trained staff that is dedicated to delivering high-quality steel products within the deadline.

SUMMARY
To fabricate, cut, weld, form or punch materials for the purpose of manufacturing components used in the construction of heavy transport equipment. 2 Fulltime positions, $70K – $85K per annum

THE ROLE:

  • Works on production-based schedule set by Manager – Manufacturing & Assembly.
  • Works to instruction given by section supervisor.
  • Alerts section supervisor to any material shortages that may affect production.
  • fabricate components for trailer from engineering drawings or supervisor instruction.
  • Fabricate items by bending and reaching in difficult positions to perform vertical, overhead and other types of welding processes.
  • Use of power tools, hydraulic presses and machinery.
  • Heavy lifting when required.
  • Directly responsible for alerting management and maintenance department of any issues relating to any mechanical failure on plant or equipment.
  • Completes weekly hazard housekeeping inspection paperwork.
  • Maintains good housekeeping practices. 
  • 2 Fulltime positions
  • $70K – $85K per annum

• Demonstrate OHS commitment through participation
• Participate in resolution of safety issues as required
• Review accidents/incidents
• Consult with OHS Representatives regarding workplace changes in an OH&S context
• Initiate actions to improve OH&S performance
• Implement OH&S policy and procedures and ensure legislative compliance
