Foreman / Mechanic –  Queanbeyan, NSW

About the role  
Our client’s team is growing and they’re looking for experienced professionals to join their busy workshop. Whether you’re a hands-on leader or a skilled technician ready for your next move, this is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established team. 

Foreman 
Lead a team of 8 technicians, manage daily workshop operations, and help grow the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring, staying hands-on, and driving productivity. 

• Key Details:
  • Salary: up to $90,000 + vehicle, phone & laptop 
  • 50-80% productive / remainder management & mentoring 
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, some Saturday overtime 
  • Previous Foreman or Senior Technician experience 
  • Strong leadership & workshop management skills 
  • Truck diagnostics and repair expertise 
  • Confident communicator and team mentor 

Mechanics 
Work on heavy vehicles in a team that values quality, safety, and growth. We welcome experienced technicians already in Australia, including visa holders. 

• Key Details: 
  • Hourly rate: $37–$40 (based on experience) 
  • Additional pay for: AC licence, Truck licence, or factory training 
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, some Saturday overtime 
  • Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic 
  • Truck repair and diagnostics experience 
  • Bonus: AC/Truck licence, factory certifications 
  • Visa holders in Australia welcome
