Our client, Metele Pty Ltd (Wagga Trucks), a local family owned business founded in 1997, is looking for qualified Auto Electricians to join their team based at NSW.
What we offer:
- 1 fulltime position available
- $65,000-$90,000 PA depending on experience
- Location: NSW
The Person:
- Previous experience in a similar role, having worked on commercial vehicles
- Trade qualification in Auto Electrician
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a valid forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Available to travel to various locations when needed.
- Knowledge and experience of modern heavy vehicle and trailer electrical and electronic systems.
- Be self-motivated and work in a professional manner.
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
The Role:
- Accurately note and complete service repair orders
- Carry out service and repairs according to manufacturers specification
- Complete electrical fit out to new vehicle / trailer builds
- Attend electrical breakdowns if required
- Ensure all installations, service and repairs are accurately documented and to quality standards
- EBS brake system maintenance
- Strong Knowledge of electrical Systems
- Experience with heavy vehicles is highly regarded
