About the role
We’re seeking an enthusiastic individual with growth ambitions to join our client-expanding company. This role is within the operations team in Artarmon, NSW. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the branch and customer service team, key support in daily operations.
Duties
- Maintain a high level of Service to all Customers in person, electronically and by phone
- Ensuring all Orders are processed accurately and dispatched efficiently
- Inventory is received into stock efficiently and accurately
- Mix Paint and colour matching.
- Involvement in inventory counts and spot checks
- Backorders are dealt with daily
- Picking orders and loading delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner
- Operate forklift to unload and move stock within warehouse.
Skills and experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Full Australian working rights
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence with a good clear record
- Be a strong team player
- Strong communication skills
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Be neat, tidy and presentable
- Have a genuine interest in the industry
- Comfortable using computers
- Have the ability to lift 20kgs
Highly regarded but not essential:
- Automotive industry experience
- Automotive Spray-Painting experience or qualification
- Automotive Panel Beating experience or qualification
- Automotive Paint Mixing in a trade store experience
Benefits
- Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Salary range of $50,000 – $60,000 based on individual experience
- Opportunity to complete Cert III in Supply Chain
