Truck Parts Interpreter – Coffs Harbour, NSW

About the company 
We’re recruiting a Truck Parts Interpreter for a key role within an established business in Coffs Harbour. This hands-on position offers variety, with no two days the same, and the opportunity to grow within the automotive industry. 

About the role 
This role involves front and back counter coverage, so we’re seeking someone reliable, motivated, and capable of working independently. If you have parts experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry and are looking for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you! 

Duties 

• Handle internal and external parts inquiries and sales. 
• Prepare invoices accurately and efficiently. 
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships. 
• Manage inbound and outbound freight and warehousing tasks. 
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment. 
• Occasionally assist with breakdowns outside of regular hours. 

Skills and experience 

• Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Parts Interpretation) or equivalent qualification or experience. 
• Experience with truck parts or heavy vehicle components (light vehicle parts experience also considered). 
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills. 
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. 
• Current NSW driver’s license required; a forklift license is an advantage. 
• Junior candidates or apprentices are welcome to apply. 

Benefits 

• Hourly rate: $33 – $43 (based on experience and qualifications). 
• Full-time hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (with a 1- hour break).
